The Facility Plan

On this page we intend to keep the public informed about what features will be included in our new facility and the floor plans and pictures of the venue. At present we can only give a text description of our planning. Since the architectural design should be completed by year's end, we will soon begin realizing actual interior design details. They will be published as they become available.

Our preliminary requirements include:

  1. A "state-of-the-art" 500-seat performing arts theater. Seats will have small hidden built-in tables.

  2. Room for 200 additional folding chairs, 700 seat maximum.

  3. Procenium type stage with orchestra pit, adequate wings and 55 foot high fly loft.

  4. Full size rehearsal stage

  5. Green room and dressing rooms.

  6. Unloading dock, workroom and storage for scenery and props.

  7. Office space for on-site staff

  8. Conference room

  9. Large lobby with gift shop, restrooms, stairs and elevator and ticket office.

  10. Wide corridor currently in place will remain .It may provide room for visual art exhibits.

The two statues from the facade of the present Rivoli, original art by Gerard Tempest, will be incorporated into the design of the new facility. Mr. Tempest has gained worldwide status as a sculptor and painter and his valuable works will continue the atmosphere of the old Rivoli.
